We’re All in This Together: 

Focus on NM OT Practice Across Disciplines

Share what you know! Now’s the time:

Because of closures and limitations related to COVID-19, we won’t be having our annual conference in person this year. But we still want to provide opportunities for CEUs and for NM practitioners to share their knowledge and experiences.


This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been uncertain about submitting a proposal for a traditional conference to have a chance to gain experience sharing their knowledge with others.


The accepted presentations will be conducted virtually using a webinar format. We would like to encourage first-time presenters to be part of this event, so we are offering:

  • Full technological support to host and conduct the presentation

  • Support developing your presentation, including feedback, brainstorming, technical support, and more

  • Reduced rates for participating in other Virtual Brews & CEUs presentations

In addition, presenters earn double CEUs for their own presentation. That means a 1 hour presentation earns you 2 CEUs when you renew your license this year!


Please take this opportunity to spread your knowledge with others around the state. We know that NM has a wealth of experience and expertise in all areas of OT practice, so we hope that a variety of OTs and OTAs from different practice areas submit proposals. Presentations are being accepted that speak to occupational therapy practice across the lifespan and across practice settings. We are eager to see what ideas you have for a meaningful presentation to your colleagues.

  9. Length of the presentation (1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours)?

  10. Three learning objectives for the presentation (e.g., “After attending, the attendee will be able to…”)

  11. Brief description of the presentation (approximately 100 words or less)

  12. Short biography of each presenter (approximately 30 words or less per presenter)

  13. Type and amount of support you anticipate needing
