UNM Hospitals is currently seeking an Occupational Therapy Supervisor for inpatient, acute care OT and COTA staff in the state's only level 1 Trauma Center and primary teaching hospital. Hospital serves both adult and pediatric populations. Become a part UNM Health Sciences Center (HSC) which includes UNMH, UNM School of Medicine and the UNM OT Graduate program. Have access to the HSC library and numerous other learning opportunities.

 

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline

  • 2 years of directly related experience

  • Physical Therapist License by the New Mexico Physical Therapist Board

  • Occupational Therapist New Mexico License or License pending with NM Occupational Therapy Board

Community Therapy Services has an immediate opening for an occupational therapist to join our growing tele-health team to serve K-12 students in online education programs in the state of New Mexico.

Presently, there is a part-time opportunity; however, there is huge potential for growth and increased hours.  Applicants must have availability during school hours at least 2 days of the week (Monday through Friday).  Special consideration will be given to those willing to seek licensure in additional states and who could be available to grow their caseload over time and provide 4-5 days of availability.  Pay is competitive at $55/hour for direct student time for occupational therapists with an increase following a positive performance appraisal after one full year. Interested applicants should have experience in pediatrics with school-based practice highly recommended.  Applicant is required to have or pursue an instructional support provider license with NM Public Education Department. Applicants should have a dynamic personality and must be very comfortable with technology. Access to and experience with Microsoft Office is a requirement for this position. Applicant must have a computer, webcam, headset, printer/scanner, and high speed internet; however, an extensive OT tool kit is provided to each therapist, as well as to each student on the therapist's caseload, to enhance the occupational therapy sessions.
