Our goal at Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital is to return people recovering from illness or injury to the highest quality of life possible. We provide a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient care including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language and pathology, rehabilitation nursing and case management services. EOE/AA.

Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital is now hiring a Full Time Inpatient Occupational Therapist.

  • Responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment to individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps to assist in reaching optimal function within their physical limitations.

  • Performs occupational therapy assessment procedures utilizing techniques consistent with the patient's diagnosis and develops individualized treatment plan based on evaluation findings.

  • Provides detailed and concise documentation of evaluation, treatment, interim reports, and discharge evaluations within departmental timelines and provides all necessary documentation required for on-going patient care.
